Brent Johnson
  Brent Johnson, President
Brent earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies from Rockford College in Rockford, IL. He worked for 8 years for Hamilton-Sundstrand in Rockford in Planning & Provisioning, as well as 8 years for Saab Aerospace interfacing between Purchasing and Production personnel in Sweden and component vendors in the U.S. for the Saab 340 project.  Brent launched Midwest Aero Support in January 1990. He enjoys swimming, jogging, skiing, pottery, gardening, yard work, and spending time with his wife, children & grandchildren.


Joel Johnson
  Joel Johnson, Business Development
During his service in the US Marine Corps Reserves, Joel joined MAS in October 1997 as an Inventory Control clerk. Later, he became a Certified Repairman and worked his way up to his current position in Business Development. Joel’s hobbies include fishing and hunting as well as raising his two young children.


Josh Griffeth
  Tari Flack, Finance Manager
Tari joined Midwest Aero Support in 2011. Tari is a CPA and earned a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. Her responsibilities include overseeing all financial information and resources required to effectively support MAS operations. In her free time, Tari enjoys snow skiing and golfing with her husband and three sons.


Mike Lubbs
  Mike Lubbs, Quality Control Manager
Mike enlisted in the US Navy in 1989 and worked on helicopter engines. After serving in the Navy, Mike earned his A&P license at Rock Valley College and subsequently joined MAS in 1995 as a component technician.  



Josh Griffeth
  Lynn Breed - Manufacturing Manager
Lynn has over 30 years of experience in Manufacturing – 15 years at Sundstrand Aerospace, 8 years at Siebe Environmental Controls/Invensys Building Systems (formerly Barber-Colman), and the last 8 years at Midwest Aero Support. During that time he has held positions in the areas of Planning, Purchasing, Scheduling, Inventory Control and Customer Service. Lynn is APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and is a Lifetime Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) through the Institute for Supply Management.


Josh Griffeth
  Bob Lueder – Supply Chain Manager
A graduate of Lake Park High School class of 1984, Bob spent 9 years in the United States Marine Corp as an Air Controller. He has been in the aviation market since 1989, employed by Cooper Aviation, AVSCO, AAR Distribution, Superior Air Parts, and Emery Air. He played a key role in the set up and function of the Emery Air Regional Maintenance facility. Bob’s work background includes purchasing, inventory planning, control & management, expediting, inside and outside sales. He has a strong background in systems & processes and has great organizational skills. Bob currently serves as Supply Chain Manager, overseeing purchasing, planning, and parts sales.


 
 

Christopher Hutchings – Business Development
Christopher joined the Midwest Aero Support Team in July 2016. For the past 5 years Chris has been working in the Aviation Industry where his main focuses have been sales, process improvement and business development. Although Chris is a British Citizen, he spent the majority of his life overseas on Military bases. After traveling the world with a friend, he settled in the Chicago area. Chris enjoys fishing, Golfing and snowboarding with his wife.


  Jacques Occhipenti – International Business Development
Jacques join MAS business development team recently after having spent 46 years in Aviation. He started his career after the French Air Force with Airlines as A&P mechanic for 15 years then worked for major OEM’s where he held various positions, Representative, Customer Support, Regional Sales Director, Sales and Marketing Director. As a French citizen he will be looking after Europe business development.
